BARINGO YOUTH POLYTECHNICS MEGA GRADUATION CEREMONY HELD AT MOGOTIO YOUTH POLYTECHNIC ON SEPTEMBER 26 2014

 Baringo County Youth Polytechnics held a join Mega Graduation Ceremony which saw over 300 graduands graduated from the 11 youth polytechnics in Baringo County.
The ceremony was graced by His excellency the Governor Baringo County Hon. Benjamin Cheboi. Also in attendace was Hon. prof.Hellen Sambili Mp Mogotio among other Distinguished guests and leaders of Baringo County.

This is a public Youth Polytechnic in the republic of Kenya offering technical and entrepreneurship skills..situated along nakuru-marigat road approx.1km north of mogotio town and approx. 1km south of the mogotio equator line and next to mogotio police station...administratively,mogotio youth polytechnic is in the larger rift valley, baringo county, mogotio subcounty,mogotio constituency ,mogotio ward.
Members of the public are encouraged to maximize the use of this important facility by encouraging the young people and any interested persons to take up this technical courses for self improvement..Gone are the days when those who don't secure placements in secondary schools are forgotten...at Youth polytechnic your dream is refreshed and redirected to where you want to get yourself in future..At youth polytechnics alternative path of education to university is nurtured..I applaud the government of Kenya for equipping youth polytechnics with tools,equipments,infrastructure and trained personnel.Not that alone every trainee who joins a youth polytechnic receives a subsidized tuition!! a lot has changed in Youth Polytechnics....gone also are days when a youth polytechnic was refereed to as a village polytechnic..a polytechnic of the village.
Gone are the days when youth polytechnics was believed to be for failures and the last resort...As much as we could like all our children to pursue the academic line of education all might not make to secondary schools or universities so waende wapi?.

• guiding and counseling

All this courses takes a duration of 2 years.
All this courses  and subjects are examined by KNEC (Kenya National Examination Council) and NITA (National Industrial  Training Authority) at the end of 2years.
Intake is done January every year.
